In 2023, Cameron and Kelly began feeling that God was stirring a new opportunity in their hearts. As they began to pray and seek the Spirit’s voice, they felt a surprising call as a family to plant a new community rooted in the Way of Jesus in Flagstaff. They believe that the Spirit was calling them on a grand adventure and story of faith, even though it took some time for the vision to take shape.
Over the last 10+ years of ministry in Scottsdale, the Lippert’s have forged strong relationships and witnessed God’s incredible blessings. Some of those friends and mentors started praying alongside Cam and Kelly in the Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024 as they began walking out the details of this transition.
Behind the scenes, they had always felt a pull to be part of seeing the Kingdom grow and expand in new ways, seeing others experience transformation in Jesus, and a desire to create deep roots to the mountains of Arizona. And so in many ways this feels like the perfect story God has been writing all along. So Cam and Kelly, with their 3 adventurous kids (Knox, Silas, and Amelie), and with the help of mentors and coaches, began planning and arranging details for the transition to launch a church in Flagstaff in 2025.
The words of the prophet Jeremiah have resonated deeply in this season of standing at a crossroads and asking where the good Way is for the Lippert family and for the Kingdom of Jesus to expand. So even in the face of some unknowns and challenges ahead, they are excited for the opportunity to walk with God, experience deep soul adventures, and see just what He is wanting to create in this beautiful city!

LIPPERT’S MOVE TO FLAGSTAFF
January 2025
Cameron, Kelly, Knox, Silas, and Amelie will leave Scottsdale and relocate to Flagstaff in January.
SABBATICAL
February 2025
We believe the best things start from rest. While we are excited and anxious to get things started, we believe God has asked us as a family, and Cameron in particular, to take a several weeks for rest and renewal in Christ.
HOUSE PARTIES BEGIN

As we continue to build relationships, we’ll gather “House Church” style for a season, growing together as apprentices of Jesus using Practicing The Way content and praying for the city of Flagstaff.

A part of the seeding strategy is launching Alpha in Flagstaff – creating a space for people to explore faith in a safe and low-commitment environment.

Praying
Starting fall of 2024, we will hold monthly prayer walks to pray, discern together, and contend to “let Heaven come” in Flagstaff. We are looking for individuals who will pray for Flag City daily, weekly, and monthly. When you sign up to pray for our ministry, each month you’ll get an email with ways God has answered prayer for past requests, specific needs for our church, and requests from our community.
Joining our Team
Our launch team will be a group of individuals who start our community, serving in various capacities to form and be the church. Whatever your giftings are, we believe that you are uniquely tasked to join us for this moment. We’d love to be a space where your gifts flourish and grow for the sake of the Kingdom in Flagstaff.
Giving Financially
Seeding something new takes a considerable amount of financial resources. Many of the experiences we plan on making core to Flag City like weekly dinner gatherings, Alpha, 24/7 Prayer, Practicing The Way, and other Initiatives will require us to fundraise just over $300K over the next few years.
